Best of Ushuaia 6 Days Tour Package
Ushuaia
In short
Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world, on the Beagle Channel in Tierra del Fuego. Three days covers the channel by boat, Tierra del Fuego national park and the end-of-the-world train — and it is where every Antarctic cruise leaves from.
The setting does the work: a port town wedged between the channel and a wall of mountains that still hold snow in January. The Beagle Channel navigation is the fixed point of any visit — sea lions, cormorants and the Les Éclaireurs lighthouse, about four hours.
Tierra del Fuego national park is 12 km west, with short coastal walks, beaver dams and the point where Ruta 3 finally runs out, 3,079 km from Buenos Aires.
Almost all Antarctic expeditions sail from here between November and March, which is also why the town is busiest and most expensive in exactly those months.
Per person, including hotels, transfers and the guided days each trip lists. International flights are never included.

Navigation through Beagle Channel to the Lighthouse:
Leaving the city of Ushuaia, we will travel along National Route No. 3, heading northeast towards the mountain peaks, Mount Olivia and the Five Brothers. Along the way, through the Carbajal Valley, we will observe cirque glaciers, hanging valleys, and peat bogs. Our first stop will be at the Carbajal Valley Lookout to take photographs.

Three: one for the Beagle Channel, one for the national park, one spare for the train, the museums or a mountain day.
For the setting and the channel, yes. It is a long flight for a small town, so it works best added to a Patagonia trip rather than as a standalone.
Almost all of them, between November and March. Crossing the Drake Passage from here takes about two days each way.
