Buenos Aires Regional Lunch & Wine Pairing Experience

This intimate lunch is the perfect introduction to Argentina’s food and wine for travelers who want to go beyond the surface. Set in a warm, private tasting room in Palermo Hollywood (more living room than restaurant), it’s an unhurried, in-depth journey across the country’s diverse wine regions and gastronomic traditions, hosted with genuine Argentine hospitality. What makes it special is the focus on small-production wines from different corners of the country, including a Merlot the hosts produce themselves in Río Negro, Patagonia: bottles you won’t easily find elsewhere. With a maximum of 8 guests in the shared format, it’s relaxed, personal, and ideal for curious food-and-wine lovers who’d rather discover Argentina one regional pairing at a time than rush through a tasting.

1. Step 1

   Welcome

   • Arrive at the private tasting room in Palermo Hollywood and settle in with a welcome drink, homemade crackers and dip
2. Step 2

   Humita a la Olla

   • A North Argentinian stew of squash, bell peppers, corn and local cheese, paired with its regional wine.
3. Step 3

   Aby's Chori-Chipá

   • Homemade chorizo with caramelized onions, chimichurri and Malbec reduction, with its pairing.
4. Step 4

   Romero Family Empanada

   • Slow-cooked Argentinian beef with aromatic spices in homemade pastry, paired with another regional wine.
5. Step 5

   Dark Chocolate Truffle

   • Finished with Patagonian sea salt and its final wine pairing, including the house Merlot from Río Negro, Patagonia.
