Buenos Aires Pizza Tour

Buenos Aires has one of the world’s most distinctive pizza cultures, built by Italian immigration and kept alive in a handful of pizzerias along Avenida Corrientes. This tour rides between three of them, Güerrín, Las Cuartetas and El Cuartito, in a restored 1980s Volkswagen van.

Between stops, the van passes the Obelisk, Casa Rosada and the Metropolitan Cathedral, lit up at night, before returning to Teatro Colón.

1. Step 1

   Teatro Colón

   • The tour starts and ends at Teatro Colón, on Cerrito 628.
2. Step 2

   Avenida Corrientes

   • A ride in a restored 1980s Volkswagen van along one of the city’s best-known avenues.
3. Step 3

   Pizzería Güerrín

   • The first of the three pizzerias on the route.
4. Step 4

   Pizzería Las Cuartetas

   • A second stop for pizza on Avenida Corrientes.
5. Step 5

   Pizzería El Cuartito

   • The third and last pizzeria of the night.
6. Step 6

   Panoramic ride

   • Past the Obelisk, Casa Rosada and the Metropolitan Cathedral, lit up at night.
7. Step 7

   Return to Teatro Colón

   • The tour ends where it started.
