Step 1
Pick-up from your accommodation in central Bariloche or along km 8 of Bustillo/Pioneros
- Depart south via Route 40, following the shores of: – Lake Gutiérrez – Lake Mascardi – Playa Negra
- Turn onto a gravel road along the Manso River, into dense native forest
- Travel through Valle de los Vuriloches en route to the highland station Pampa Linda
- Free time for lunch (casual or full meal options available)
- Arrival at the Ventisquero Negro Viewpoint, overlooking the Laguna de los Témpanos
- Optional short walks to nearby glacier viewpoints, waterfalls, and panoramic sites
- Continue 7 km to the foot of Cerro Tronador (3,554 m) with views of eight glaciers
