A day in the Sacred Valley from Cusco: the Chinchero weavers, the Moray terraces and the Maras salt pans.

Morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco, then the Sacred Valley: two Inca sites and an Andean community.

Our first stop is Mirador Chinchero, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the valley and visit a local artisan community. Here, skilled weavers will demonstrate the traditional process of cleaning, dyeing, and weaving llama and sheep wool into colorful textiles.

Next, we’ll visit the Moray Terraces, an impressive archaeological site made up of circular terraces built by the Incas. This ancient agricultural laboratory was used to experiment with crops and study how they adapted to different microclimates and ecological zones.

Then the colonial town of Maras, where coats of arms are still carved on the house fronts. Our journey continues to the world-famous Maras Salt Mines. From the viewpoint, you will marvel at over 3,000 salt pools, still harvested today using ancestral crystallization techniques to transform saline water into pure salt crystals.

Book your Moray Terraces and Maras Salt adventure today and experience the magic of the Sacred Valley!
