A full day through the Casablanca Valley’s cool-climate wine region, with tastings at three wineries and lunch included.
The Casablanca Valley, between the Coastal Mountain Range and the Pacific, grows Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc in a cool climate. At Emiliana, a guided walk through the organic and biodynamic gardens covers the planted varieties, the chicken coop and alpaca corral, and composting and biodynamic preparations, with a four-wine tasting and a mini cheese and chocolate board. At William Cole, a tour of the vineyard, winery, tank room and barrel room is followed by a tasting of three Gran Reserva wines with crackers and nuts. At Casas del Bosque, the day closes with a winery tour, a four-wine tasting, and a three-course lunch at the Tanino restaurant.
