Itinerary
How the day runs

Step 1
Hotel pick-up in El Calafate and transfer to Los Glaciares National Park
- Boat navigation from Puerto Bajo de las Sombras across Rico Arm (20 minutes)
- Arrival at the mountain refuge and division into small groups with professional guides
- Trek along the glacier moraine for approx. 2 hours with scenic views + Equipment fitting (crampons, helmets, harnesses) and safety briefing
- Glacier hike (approx. 3 hours) discovering crevasses, caves, lagoons, and unique ice formations.
- Short break for lunch in the middle of the glacier.
- Return trek along the moraine and navigation back to port. Transfer to Perito Moreno walkways for approx. 1 hour of panoramic viewing.
- Return transfer to El Calafate.

- The entrance fee to Los Glaciares National Park is not included and must be paid upon arrival at the park entrance. The ticket is valid for one day only; however, if you visit again the next day, you receive a 50% discount by presenting your previous day’s ticket (valid for consecutive visits).
- Regarding food and beverages, this depends on each tour. If not included, you are welcome to bring your own lunch box or snacks. At Perito Moreno Glacier and Spegazzini Glacier, there are restaurant and snack bar facilities available inside the park.
- Suitable for ages 18 to 50. This is an adventure excursion in a remote area with highly variable weather conditions. Due to the high physical demand (approximately 7 hours of trekking), it is essential to be in very good overall health in order to enjoy the experience without difficulties. For this reason, participants are required to complete a Medical Form as a sworn statement.
