8 Days Best of Peru: Lima, Cusco & Machu Picchu. From colonial Lima to the Sacred Valley, Peru's history, its food and the Andes, ending in a guided visit to Machu Picchu. Includes accommodation, guided tours, domestic flight, and airport transfers.
This 8-day journey through Peru begins in Lima, where guests explore the historic center, Miraflores, Barranco, and the Larco Museum, paired with a curated food tour spanning ceviche, Nikkei-Chifa fusion, and Amazonian flavors. A short flight brings travelers to Cusco, with a free day to acclimatize to altitude before a half-day tour of the city’s key archaeological sites, including Sacsayhuamán and Qoricancha. The trip’s centerpiece is a full-day excursion to Machu Picchu via train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes, followed by a guided tour of the ancient citadel, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. The itinerary closes with a day-long exploration of the Sacred Valley, visiting Chinchero’s weaving traditions, the Moray terraces, Maras salt mines, and the ruins of Ollantaytambo and Pisac, before departure from Cusco.
The package includes 7 nights’ accommodation with breakfast, all tours with English-speaking local guides, the Lima–Cusco flight, all airport transfers, and most meals and entrance fees as specified in the itinerary. Travel insurance, gratuities, and personal expenses are not included.
